From July 1, 2024, in compliance with Decision No. 2345/QD-NHNN dated December 18, 2023, Public Bank Vietnam (PBVN) has implemented biometric verification for certain online transactions.
PBVN strongly advises customers to never disclose account security information and e-banking services information (username, password, and OTP code) to anyone, including PBVN staff; remain vigilant and avoid accessing suspicious links received through social media, SMS, or emails to prevent fraud and identity theft. PBVN does not directly contact customers to guide about biometric data collection.
PBVN encourages customers to update biometric information solely through mobile banking application – PB engage VN, refrain from updating information through any other website or application to avoid impersonation and fraud risks. If customers need assistance with biometric data collection, please visit the PBVN counter.
