Celebrating National Digital Transformation Day: Public Bank Vietnam Embraces the Digital Future

Over the past period, Public Bank Vietnam has implemented a series of robust solutions to provide modern payment channels and tools, and to develop products and services aimed at reducing the proportion of cash payments in total payments, such as:

• Deployment of electronic payment channels: The bank has developed and expanded electronic payment channels like Internet Banking and the PB engage VN – Mobile Banking application to facilitate cashless transactions for customers.
• Promotion of contactless payments: The use of contactless payment technology via bank cards and mobile devices reduces reliance on cash and facilitates daily transactions.
• Development of new products and services: The bank has continuously updated and expanded its portfolio of payment products and services to meet the growing needs of customers, such as bill payments, money transfers via QR code, and product ecosystems of other providers as well
• Encouragement of cashless payments: Through promotional programs and incentives for using bank cards or online electronic payment methods.
• Training and awareness raising: The bank continuously updates and provides information and instructions on using new technologies applied in Mobile Banking applications to customers, raising their awareness of the benefits of using modern and secure payment methods compared to cash.

Public Bank Vietnam is always striving to promote digital transformation to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality, and meet the growing needs of customers in the digital environment. These efforts not only enhance customer convenience but also contribute to the development of a comprehensive and sustainable financial system, while realizing the goals of the Government and the State Bank in reducing the proportion of cash in the economy.
