Dear Valued Customers,

Public Bank Vietnam (PBVN) hereby issue an advisory regarding the purchase, sale, or lease of bank accounts. In recent time, numerous individuals have exploited customer trust to acquire or rent bank accounts, subsequently utilizing them for illegal activities such as fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing, resulting in severe legal and financing consequences for the account holder.

PBVN strongly advise you to:

• Absolutely do not disclose personal information such as usernames, ebanking log-in passwords, OTP codes, or any other confidential information to anyone, including bank staff.
• Avoid engaging in the renting, leasing, borrowing, lending, opening on behalf of, purchasing, or selling bank accounts with any individuals or organizations, for any purpose whatever.
• Stay informed about new fraud methods by regularly updating information from relevant authorities and the banks, in order to protect account security and avoid the risk of being exploited for illegal purposes.
• Regularly check your account activity and immediately notify PBVN upon detecting any unusual transaction.
