GUIDE TO REPORT SPAM CALLS AND SPAM MESSAGES

Dear Valued Customers,

Recently, cybercriminals through fraudulent methods aimed at customers using e-banking services to appropriate property have increased. To ensure the safety of customer's information and interests, and promptly handle the above situation, you are advised to follow these recommended steps to report spam calls and spam messages to the Information Security Department (Ministry of Information and Communication - MIC) as follows:

Step 1: Receive and check spam messages

Upon receiving the message, check the content of the message. Copy the message or take a screenshot of the message as proof.

Step 2: Report spam messages to the Information Security Department

Option 1: Report to call center 5656

Compose a message with the syntax:

S [source of distribution] [spam content] to 5656;

or S (source of distribution) (spam content) to 5656.

For example: S (ACB) (Your account is detected to login in different location, please enter https//xyz2.com to confirm your information and change password) to 5656.

Note: All messages sent to 5656 are free of charge.

Option 2: Access to the link https://thongbaorac.ais.gov.vn/ and report as per MIC’s instructions.
